PRODUCE: During the summer and fall months, our Endless Treasures sale is overflowing with fresh produce from some of our local farms. As long as they are unprocessed fruits and vegetables, they can be sold at CYA Exchange. We typically start selling produce at 10:30 a.m. We ask that consignors make every attempt to package items uniformly.

ATTENTION POULTRY SELLERS

We now have our pullorum antigen. The Ohio Department of Agriculture and the Ohio Poultry Association require a negative Pullorum Typhoid test for birds older than 16 weeks of age before being entered in a swap, sale, or exhibition. All required poultry (chickens, guineas, pheasants, quail, and peafowl) must have a negative test before being sold at CYA Exchange. If you do not have proof of a negative test within 12 months, then a rapid whole-blood test will be completed before you unload your birds.

NO BIRDS WILL BE PLACED IN OUR CAGES WITHOUT A NEGATIVE TEST!

A different test must be used for turkeys. Turkeys must arrive with proof of their negative test. Doves, pigeons, and waterfowl are exempt from testing.

Drop off for all poultry is 7:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Poultry arriving before 7:30 a.m. or after 11:00 a.m. may be refused, please plan accordingly.

The seller will be charged a $2.00 fee per bird tested.

ODA requires the following numbers to be tested: If 1 bird is consigned – 1 bird is tested; if 2-5 birds are consigned – 2 birds are tested; if 6 or more birds are consigned – 3 birds are tested.

Thank you for helping us meet ODA standards!
